Yes- and I have a wonderful book that examines that very idea- they do seem to always hit better there.
“At Fenway, Dispatches From Red Sox Nation” by Dan Shaughnessy.

I’ve got Manny’s minor league card I wonder how much that’s worth, looking just as skinny.

That inning was huge for Shilling. When you pile on a team and the pitcher has to sit he can lose it fast. He didn’t allow them to get a few back and allow them back into the game.
He’s very marginal tonight but so wasn’t Byrd and he did what was needed for game 4.

Gagne is an excellent pitcher. He's just on George Steinbrenner's payroll.

Scilling just has to continue the crafty veteran thing. Spot his pitches correctly and change speeds.

Gagne is one pitch away from bagging groceries. LOL...Paper or plastic?

I had dinner with Trot Nixon during spring traing. It was an accident. I got his autograph at the ball park then he sat next to me at a seafood bar. We talked for two hours. Great guy.

Thanks.
As far as I am concerned—FOR ME—this series is over.
Tomorrow night, there is every reason to believe the Tribe will send Westbrook to the mound, and backing him up will be a very tired bullpen. I must admit, I’ll probably watch on that MLB html/java pitch-by-pitch thingy with classical music.
I congratulate the Tribe on winning the division and defeating the Yankees.
My pessimism suggests there will be nothing further.

I thin we drove all the Injin fans away tonight... I told the Injin fan in game 2 not to get too cocky or high - disappointment sucks eggs.
