Santana will go to the NL, IMO. The Dodgers have plenty of valuable young players and they need Santana badly. Plus, the Twins don’t want to have to face him.

Will be an interesting offseason for the AL Wild Card winners. Mo? A-Fraud? Whore-hey? Torre? Pettite? They very easily could be a third or fourth place team next year.

Steinbrenner will reload his lineup.

Ugh...don’t remind me.
Who the hell are these guys and what did they do with the Tribe that beat the Yankees like red-headed stepchildren??

Fat part of the order coming up now. Ortiz is hitting .750, Manny .500 and Lowell .364.

I am not holding my breath that in three innings we’ll erase a 6-run deficit.

I can't believe we are talking about that team on this thread..... They haven't won anything in this century.

"I know Josh Beckett, and Chin Min Waaang is no Josh Beckett. No doubt about that, the Sox will take control tonight, what tomorrow brings will be another vintage ottting by Curt Shilling.
Dice K is yet another story, let's hope Francona has him on another short rope.
Wakefield is the unknown commodity, he can come through and surprise.

Who the hell are these guys and what did they do with the Tribe that beat the Yankees like red-headed stepchildren?? Beckett is pitching tonight like he has all season. The difference between Beckett and CC is that CC has 40 more innings on his arm than Beckett.
And the Yanks team you beat up is the same one that allowed the Orioles to score 4 runs after the beginning of the bottom of the 9th in a critical game the last weekend of the regular season.

7 walks for the Indians pitchers tonight. The Red Sox and Yankees hitters take alot of pitches. Makes for 4 hour games.

Hey, maybe somebody can tell me if I'm crazy or not.
During Game 2 of the Red Sox/Angels series last Friday night, I was travelling to Savannah, Ga with my wife. After a full day of driving, I was exhausted and fell asleep in the hotel during the game. When Manny hit his walk-off homerun, I was startled awake and drowsily watched the highlights of the game. I could have sworn that one of the highlights they showed over and over again was of a line drive hit to the Red Sox pitcher. The pitcher's glove came off with the ball and the shortstop picked up the glove and threw the glove (with ball inside) to first base to get the out.
My wife thinks I'm crazy and I went to YouTube trying to find the video showing that. Can anybody confirm this actually happened or did I drink too many beers at the Moon River tavern that night?

And fourth Indians’ pitcher to enter the game.
To: SE Mom
Just stopping by to say GOOOOO RED SOX!!! :) Hi, SE Mom! The Red Sox are definitely "going" tonight. :o)
I must say I'm a bit surprised by the score (9-2). I expected a closer game. Of course it's not over yet...

The Red Sox are using up their allotment of runs tonight. Not good. They need to save some of their runs for future games.
