It’s not that much to ask, provided he got enough rest. I’m 25 and I could do it, that is if I were fit enough to play in the bigs, which I’m not, unfortunately.

It’s the maturity that I am talking about. Young guys get rattled and in this case Carmona is trying to blow everyone away instead of pitching his game. We saw Beckett do that a lot last year to much consternation in Red Sox Nation.

When Carmona comes out of the game we can sing, to the tune of a famous Knack song,
Na na na NA NA na NA
na NA na na NA
Na na na NA NA na NA
Bye, Carmona!
Keep him in, he's meat. ;-)

Joe Buck just called Martinez’ home run a “tape measure” shot to right. Huh? It was about 10 rows back near the Pesky pole, no tape measure shot

Sox need to put another crooked number on the scoreboard.
To: misterrob
I agree, the batting equivalent would be trying to hit a home run and striking out.

I ignore the announcers as much as possible.

Yes, and now would be a good time.
“game plan”?? Huh? In baseball?
I’m too old for that nonsense- just give me a hotdog at Fenway and a cold root beer!
