Not looking good for Game 4 here RS Nation. Looks like we’ll need another series comeback. Beckett in game 5, Schilling in game 6 and Beckett (et. al.) again in game 7.

I think it’s fair to say that it’s Cleveland’s turn this year. The hits are falling for them, they can manage to dink and dunk their guys in and the Sox cannot. Wake actually pitched very well tonight. If he let’s the ball go by to Pedroia he’s out of the inning.
Francoma has to panic and pull Wake after Martinez pulls a low pitch off the plate for a run for a guy who throws a straight pitch to a guy who hits HRs.
Congrats Tribe Fans. It’s your year.

I wouldn’t concede anything yet. Things were more bleak in 04 against the Yankees.

I just can’t understand where the hell our bats have been. This is so damned frustrating.

7-zip now, Tribe running away with it. What is up with Red Sox pitching, anyway?

The Sox have some pretty marginal hitters in their line-up this year. Drew, Crisp, Lugo, Mirabelli, Tek are not good hitters and Pedroia is out of place as a lead off hitter. Good hitters don’t swing at crap, they take what is offered and make the most of it and don’t try to be something they are not.
