Plasma TVs are power hogs....your local electric power company would love for you to buy one.

I don’t think the electric company likes me especially when someone left the gate open; and my girls escorted the electric man down the street. Don’t misunderstand; they are sweet; but he did the right thing by just letting them escort him. My husband got them back in. Could it be that he left the gate open. Now it is locked.

Plasma’s are power hogs. I did some quick calcs and figure it would cost about $70 / year to power a big plasma on PG&E’s power running about 5 hours/day. And most of that power goes into heat, which is fine in the winter, but maybe not so nice in the summer.
