I call this treason against the US citizens.
After checking your links, (and dates), I think Mr. Turner has been ‘taken’. First of all, how does he know for sure that the person who contacted him worked for the Treasury Dept.? It could be anyone ‘puttin’ him on’, to make a fool out of him.
This ‘person’ could have bought the ‘amero’ coins here: (And sent one to him, to continue with the facade.)

Second - he shows a link from the Denver Mint, stating they will be closed for construction from September 10, through September 28 - (to produce ameros)?
But, the coin he shows (that he supposedly received from someone who works at the Denver Mint for the US Treasury in Denver) has a date on the pictures of August 21, 2007.
Sorry - but I think Mr. Hal Turner was ‘taken’.
