Hugh Hewitt’s cheerleading for Romney is too emotionalized; he’s almost liberal-esque in his party spirit. Actually, his lack of objectivity in these matters has me listening to his show on fewer occasions...and I’m a double DiMaggiatti.

In selecting a president, it is important to have a person who can build a team, not just fill slots in bureaucracies. That team must understand their leader or they will run their departments in an un-orchestrated fashion. Romney isn’t clear on some matters; I haven’t heard one Thompson waffle.

Moreover, like it or not, the Democrats WANT Romney as the opposition's candidate. His Mormonism is a target for those anti-Christian zealots. They will use truth to fight Romney, and some half-truths, and many outright lies in their quest to annoint their own Monarch. The Thompson campaign liabilities in this regard are nil.

Romney is a stuffed shirt. Too clintonesque in his political style; a political opportunist who will take any position-of-the-moment he feels he needs to to win votes. I don’t trust politicians with no core political convictions or political convictions that change with the polls.

The last paragraph was the real stinger. Fred is the one who is plugged in and understands the new media [according to this author]. Romney claims that but certainly did not deliver in all this.

Congrats on your shirt, your wife knows how to pick a present.

My birthday is coming up next month and I’m positive my vet would never think of something like that. :(
