The annual Texas-Oklahoma football game has been know for the last 100 years as the Red River Shootout.
But now, thanks to the ABC PC police the new name is: 'The Red River Rivalry

I’m not so sure that ABC had anything to do with it.
Texas and Oklahoma will meet in what is now called the SBC Red River Rivalry. The name change was announced Wednesday as part of a new three-year sponsorship agreement between the two schools and SBC Communications Inc.
ABC had nothing to do with the name change.
