Given the great names of the past that haven’t been inducted, this group is simply inexcusable.

Madonna, Donna Summer and Chic are disco/pop. Beastie Boys are (c)rap. “Afrika Bambaataa” is “world music”. Leonard Cohen is a Beatnik. Leaving the Dave Clark Five, John Mellencamp and the Ventures as the only rock and roll acts in the whole group. That means that they are two rock acts short of five.
