Does an illegal alien in this country have a right to defend himself against harm? How about an insane person? A foreign tourist? A 4-year-old boy? A prisoner?

Gotta love the concept that our right to self defense doesn't include ANY gun; -- that if a government wishes to allow you to keep and bear some category of weapon for personal self defense, either concealed, carried on your hip, in your car, or left at home, that the type of arm to be permitted is a completely separate issue. [Best settled by legislators?]

The list of prohibited weapons could be unending, starting with sticks and stones. -- Rational people realize this, -- which is why they simply said that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed.
