I take it you are as convinced as I that CCW is all about compiling lists of gun-owners for purposes of later confiscation.

ugh, those are clearly tack-on charges that DA's utilize in order to maintain leverage over career criminals. i don't have time to explain all the minutia. but i bet there aren't many cases of your "plastic pistol grip" law being the only charge against an otherwise law-abiding citizen.
i would bet that it has been utilized as one of a myriad of charges against felony firearm recidivists. same with the gun theft law. criminals who buy guns and then sell them illegally often say the gun was stolen when the cops come knocking on their door due to sales records leading the cops to their door.

Did you happen to read Gen. Tommy Franks, ominous article in '03. It will send shivers down the back of Americans. It is about as thrilling as noting that Schwarzkopf is on the board of directors at The Nature Conservancy.

I hear Brady is changing their wording so as not to have it head to the SC. Too late. The wording has already been presented, and their opposition supports the appeal.

Indeed we should, just as the Founding Fathers intended. Remember, the “Minutemen” were the best example of what citizens should be - muskets then, M16s today.
BTW: Bob would just get it from his dealer - just like he does today.

Hey! I hear ya. Hope you are well and gearing up for deer season. Bow season here and temps above 90. Skeeters are unbelievable.
Did you happen to see what my hubby brought home from Colorado?

Sorry — that link directs you to post #13, but the correct post for the pic is #10. My bad.

Here’s a good one.

I’m Canadian. It’s like being American, but without the gun.

The purpose of this report is to show how 'consent of the governed' has become abused Like I need a "report" for that.
"This report is to show how big powerful central governments like to consolidate and expand that power at the expense of individual liberty".
"Duh" alert.

http://www.canadianembassy.org/government/guncontrol-en.aspThe 1995 Firearms Act had three main public safety goals: to deter the misuse of firearms, to control access to them and to control specific weapons. The national firearm registry will make it easier to trace guns used in criminal activity and to return stolen guns to their owners. The licensing requirements, which include extensive background checks and a spouse's signature on the application, are designed to prevent those with a history of criminal behaviour, mental illness or spousal abuse from legally owning a gun. To prevent loss of life through accidental shootings, the law requires an applicant for a firearms license to take the Canadian Firearms Safety Course and pass a test demonstrating a basic understanding of who to handle guns safely and the legal responsibilities of firearm ownership. It also requires that all firearms be stored unloaded and locked.
All firearms stored unloaded and locked? oaky......
