Yeah, it's definitely on location. And one of the messages that comes through is that Saudi wealth creates an unbelievable standard of living for the few. For the many---by third world standards, it's not horrible, but the repression they (naturally) have to live with to keep the terrorists at bay while still adhering to Islam is apparent.
On the other hand, the butt-kissing that foreigners have to do with these "royalty" is nauseating.
