'I’ve made a point not to go see any left wing artist that makes it a point to insult the things I hold dear. I don’t hold their opinions against them as long as they don’t go out of their way to preach it to me while at the same time asking me to cough up money for their products. When I first started doing this there were times I really felt deprived but over the years it seems when a celebrity advance their propaganda I really don’t care to see or hear their material anymore.'

This is the probably the most level headed reply I have seen. If you do not agree with someone or thier point of view, don't support them or spend money on furthering thier cause. It is a pure and simple point of view; it saddens me to see some of the topics and comments about these young ladies, they stated thier opinion (an opinion I dare say my fellow Americans that is held by some in places we think are 'pro' American like Europe). being cruel and malicous never accomplishes anything and I take it from reading some of these messages, that some posters here are 'claiming' to be God fearing Christians... Perhaps they have the right idea in fearing God as he would surely never approve of the way this has gotten out of hand regrading the Dixie Chicks.
