FORT PAYNE, Ala. -- A 62-year-old grandmother arrested in a prostitution sting in Fort Payne has begun serving a two month jail sentence.
Last night, a Fort Payne municipal judge sentenced Mary Clark Duncan to 180 days, but suspended all but 60 days of the jail term.
Duncan's daughter, Theresa Duncan, was also arrested August first.
The mother and daughter were arrested Aug. 1, after they allegedly both agreed to have sex with an undercover officer for $30 -- at $15 each.
Fort Payne Police Chief David Walker said the sting was carried out after his office received several tips that the women were engaged in illicit activities.
Prostitution is not something we see a lot of in the Fort Payne area, Walker told The Times-Journal. However, we are glad that something of this nature was brought to our attention, and were able to put an end to this operation.
Walker said the majority of the Duncans clientele was believed to be Hispanics.
There were two men at the home at the time of the arrest, including Teresa Duncans estranged husband and Mary Duncans son. No charges have been filed against the men, Walker said, according to The Times-Journal.

There should be penalties for price gouging.
15 bucks is too much.
“The bigger the cushion, the sweeter the pushin’
That’s what I said
The looser the waistband, the deeper the quicksand
Or so I have read”
Talk about bum-cakes...
:)
I posted this yesterday and it was gone in five minutes!
Just damn!
Well, as you can see, they were at least not prostituting themselves to support a meth habit. Perhaps a Little Debbie habit.
Grandma needs her casino money. Lay off!
This should have been a capital offense.
That’s why I didn’t find it in a search. I expect this one to disappear too.
Why do I keep hearing Banjos?

Fred Thompson Isn’t the Only Tennessean Throwing His Hat Into the Ring: Little Debbie is Running for America’s Favorite Advertising Icon Monday September 17, 9:00 am ET Vote Now Through September 24, 2007
COLLEGEDALE, Tenn., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ — Former Tennessee Senator and Law & Order actor Fred Thompson announced his presidential bid two weeks ago. But he’s not the only Tennessean throwing his hat into the ring.
Little Debbie has thrown her straw hat into the ring. She’s in the running for America’s favorite advertising icon as part of Advertising Week 2007. Online voting is taking place now through September 24 at www.littledebbie.com and at http://advertising.yahoo.com/advertisingweek_07/.
“It’s an honor for Little Debbie to be nominated as America’s favorite advertising icon,” says Chris McKee, vice president of sales and marketing for McKee Foods, the company that makes Little Debbie Snacks and the cousin of the real Little Debbie, Debbie McKee.
“In the latest polls, Little Debbie is America’s No. 1 selling snack cake, but the only poll that counts is the one that’s taking place right now online. We’re encouraging Americans everywhere to log onto their computers, do the right thing, and cast their votes for Little Debbie.”
Little Debbie is one of 26 advertising icons competing this year. Two icons and two slogans will join the Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame as part of Advertising Week. The event is the largest and most prestigious annual gathering of advertising and media industry leaders in North America. Advertising Week 2007 will take place in the advertising capital of the world, New York City, September 24 through 28. Visit www.advertisingweek.com for more details.
What will Chris McKee do if Little Debbie is named America’s favorite advertising icon? “The competition is tough,” he says. “We never count our snack cakes before they’re baked.”
About the Little Debbie Brand
The Little Debbie brand is better known than its parent company, McKee Foods. In 1960, the company founders O.D. and Ruth McKee decided to create a brand for the products they were selling and chose to name it after one of their grandchildren - 4-year-old Debbie.
The original image of Debbie used on packaging and advertising was based on a black-and-white photo of her in her favorite outfit. Atlanta artist Pearl Mann did the original color artwork. She made the very young Debbie look older, around eight or nine. Minor changes were made to the logo in 1987.
As an adult, Debbie McKee has held numerous executive positions with the company and currently serves on the McKee Foods board of directors.
McKee Foods’ Little Debbie brand is America’s No. 1 selling snack cake. More than 157 billion Little Debbie® snacks have been sold since the brand became available in stores in 1960. If you lined up all those snacks, that would cover 9,910,996 miles - enough to circle the Earth nearly 398 times! That’s also enough snack cakes to stretch to the moon and back more than 41 times. There are more than 75 varieties of Little Debbie snack cakes sold throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and on U.S. military bases throughout the world. Must have been working the street outside the “Society for the Blind”, obviously.
Those two look like tons of fun.
They have to be illegals. They're definitely doing the things Americans won't.

One direction, the cost is way too high.
The other direction, the fee is far too low.
Good heavens!
