Conversely, I see nothing that ALLOWS them, either.
Came in late, huh?
It’s spelled out in the post. It includes drunk pedestrians, but says that they’re still the minority (so drivers are the major cause).
You yourself for some reason say to “note particularly the last sentence”:
“The term alcohol-related does not indicate that a crash or fatality was caused by the presence of alcohol”
But I’m not sure why you said to note it. I guess you’re just saying we’ll assume the #s are all alcohol-caused, not merely related. I couldn’t see how you really addressed the last sentence.
State or local law.
If screening for compliance with motor vehicle law by conducting compliance check points considered reasonable, then there is no Constitutional issue, at least imo.
Does that mean I like the check points? No way!
You do have constitutional right against unreasonable search and seizure. Just because you happen to be driving at the time, in no way lessons that right. Sorry, you are just wrong.
Who died and made you God? You have no right to decide everyone in America has to give up the right against unreasonable searches just because you say so. If someone is driving erratically then the search is reasonable, but to pull everyone over and search them just because you say it’s ok, isn’t.
i'm sorry that you can't see the inherent contradiction between those three statements.
Ooh! A troll!
Let me guess: you were the kid we used to stuff in the locker.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Love it! And,,,every time a teacher complains about his salary, other true professionals should tell them to stop whining.
Also....they aren’t “liberal”. They are Marxists and Useful Idiots.
We are in a philosophical civil war and we will not win unless we start calling them what they REALLY are: Marxists and Useful Dimwits.
Who the Hell are you talking to newbie?
Let me guess: you were the kid we used to stuff in the locker.
i'll bet that you're far more familiar with the inside of your school locker door than most people on this board, eh tough guy?
Maybe you should get your mind right, learn a little logic, and you won't be taken to task for posting inconsistent $#!t.
i'm really sorry that you know nothing of logic, but don't assume that the rest of us are morons.
Not only that, we’d hang him by an atomic wedgee in the gym then pull his shorts down to his knees. lol
And for some reason those kids never felt that they then had a right to shoot dozens of kids and teachers in the school.
Hmmm. Must have struck a nerve. Now he’s gone and gotten his “Keyboard Commando Superhero” cape in a wad.
I wouldnt offer that up to a cop that pulls you over, however
Of course not. It’s been many years since law enforcement has had a policy to uphold the Constitution, in spite of the fact that that’s in the oath they all swear.
***That’s what I should have said in the last political discussion I had with someone in our church group. Where were you 2 weeks ago?
hah hah, that’s pretty funny.
Did the person moving down a highway at 60mph lose his right to reasonable search just because he’s on a road?
Driving is a Right - Not a Privilege

“I’m sorry that your lack of intelligence and attention through high school and college left you fit only for a job as a public school teacher, but that doesn’t give you the right to inflict your anger and ideology on my child.”
That’s just tacky.
Don't know what happened with that post, lost my connection midstream and just got it back.
Stop insulting my liberties with your rhetoric, and I'll stop insulting your rhetoric.
Thank you in advance.
