To: My Favorite Headache

The thought occurs to me . . .

Gritch Griffin evidently is unaware . . .

Jsus’ supposed “meek and mild” days are history.

This time He returns as CONQUERING KING.

EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW; EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT JESUS THE CHRIST IS LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS.

Evidently she plans to be out of practice on that score.

Yeah, but you know, God is patient.

Our sins bare us out and in the case of Kathy, her words were somewhat carefully chosen, granted from an antichristian perspective, but they amazing reveal something much deeper within her soul.

She comments about other people thanking Jesus. From somewhere within her she then takes the opposite view, commanding Jesus in a blasphemous utterance, which she is probably so callous about that she probably half way excuses herself by thinking he really doesn’t reign or possibly even exist.

Her next quip admits she has her God now, namely the Emmy. That in and of itself telegraphed past thinking in her heart which was idolotry and placed worldly aspirations before God.

Now here is an interesting predicament. She now has everything she wants. Next question and a testimony for all including herself to witness is, Are you now really satiated and happy with something other than God as the object of your faith?

It really doesn’t matter if she has been joking about these issues all along, her sins will bare her out.

He may have plans for her from eternity past which she has known absolutely nothing about and is about to get some shocking revelation.

My prayers are out that He remains faithful and through His grace, as an opportunity might arise touch her so that she might also find cause to turn to Him, through faith in Christ.

Remember, Saul did alot worse things to believers than Griffen has at present, and thank you Lord for the work you provided in Him.

FWIW, even though perhaps more shocking, I still found Sam Kennison more profoundly funny than Griffen, and I suspect he had a very good relationship with Him through Christ, albeit probably out of fellowship from time to time like so many of us and especially myself.
