My sons first Hog Hunt (vanity)

My son and I went hog hunting yesterday. We were shooting from stands about 25 yards on a down angle as the stands wre about 12 feet tall.
A big old porker came out and started grubbing around and my son lined up with his S&W 629 6 inch 44 mag and fired one off.
The hog just stood there! So he thumbs the hammer and lines up for another and the damn thing jst fell over!
One shot, One kill!
205 lb russian! It is the black one.

Hey Haz, I can just imagine your grin when you walk by the pork aisle at your grocer without stopping! I hope you’ve got yourself a good butcher and some good sausage recipes. Nothing wrong with tossing in some apples or try a garlic/sun dried tomato combo...variations are endless!

With those horns if you mount it right it would make a COOL gun rack.

They taste very good. When we are having antelope for dinner we several friends that drive for miles just to be here. It is very fine grain and almost no fat.will put the horns up in the garage next to several deer racks.
