Yet each and every time, the ant will survive the fall. In fact, I hasten to add that they would also probably survive a fall from an airplane at 20,000 feet but I have never actually conducted such an experiment for myself.
The ant doesn’t have enough mass to make much of an impact. Dropping one from orbit however would be a different matter altogether.
