If there is anyone that still questions Ray Lewis’s toughness, see his one armed tackle of Rudy Johnson last night. MAYBE three other LB’s in the entire league could have done that, even if it was a 15 yard penalty for ‘horsecollaring’.
Ed Reed? Simply the best defensive player on the Ravens, and I wish we had him....even though our safeties played very well last night.
And I hope everybody noted Landon Johnson’s incredible performance at LB for the Bengals. And Geathers.

I'll demonstrate... You commented last week that the Bengals had developed an actual defense. I watched that game and decided to give the defensive game ball to that new defender in the striped shirt that saved the game for you there at the end. Have you got him locked up for the season? :)
Second demonstration - Did you hear what Deion had to say about the game on the NFL network? They asked him how could one of the worst offences in football go from being held to seven points to what we saw in the Bengals game. Deion's answer? "Easy... they were playing the Bengals".

You seem to be able to "respond" quite well right here. I've made no statements that I wouldn't make directly to you (or, frankly, any that you would have right to be upset about).
Takes a fair amout of chutzpah to make that claim, btw, given the comments you've made here on this very thread. I'm quite certain that a certain Steelers fan would have something to say about the relative performance of two teams' defensive performance against one of the worst teams in football... but you know he can't respond.

Sorry, would have responded sooner, but I took the time to check 1) the email provided links (14 of them)...2) The LP database to see if comments (which you apparently thought would go unnoticed because you didn’t ping me) still existed in the LP database. They do, all of them since mid April.
You took one too many cheapshots on a website that I can’t respond at.

Frankly... your judgement of what constitutes a "cheap shot" is questionable. I've declined to do so when prompted. The only "shots" I've taken re: you at all have been football jabs.
And if you're too juvenile to take those (especially when dishing them out here), you need to grow up.
I take it that what you've found is so mild that you're embarrassed to try to spin it as a "cheap shot" here.
And just why would I think to "ping" someone who isn't even on the site?
That's why I have to watch "Patriot's Fifth Quarter." It talks me down. Plus, it's a lot of fun. Football is my favorite sport to watch, by far. And who would have ever thought that we'd live to see a football dynasty in New England?
