‘I didn’t see enough of the Chiefs, but my impression is that they won more games than they should have.’
I’m still laughing at Larry Johnson’s inept performance, and the fact the Chiefs paid big bucks for it....(chuckle)
‘Ive been trying to give my Gator Grossman the benefit of the doubt, but after yesterday, Im worried for the boy.’
You qualify as a very very patient man.
Jets Fans....don’t dispair...there are still a couple of Wild Card berths to shoot for...
Had this drunken dream that the Cowboys won big, a really, really smoking hot cheerleader climbed into my bed and afterwards I found the biggest, most delicious fruit wrap I ever ate!
Then I awoke with a monster headache, the damnest foul taste in my mouth and found my afghan bed cover was gone...
But the ‘Boys... did win BIG!
BTW Larry, are you stalking those Sidekicks Cheerleaders?
Not judging... I just want more pics!
One of the nice things about Chad Johnson is you never have to tell him that.
McAllister is going to have a very very long night tonight.
Your: I see. Well not to worry, the Cowboys Nation is a welcoming fold and we take in wayward fans from the dark side all the time. You will be assimilated.
Well, Tigress... I told him he didn't read your past posts, didn't I?
Dysart, we must accept... that when a babe is as drop dead, smoking hot as Allegra is, as genius level smart as she is and as braveheart brave as she is, we cut her some slack on the football teams she roots for...
Otherwise, it will make you... cross-eyed!
Besides, she roots... for the second greatest pro football team in the world, the Houston Texans!
It is just her past association... with those Godless Deadskins that bothers me.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It was a lot more than Rex that stopped the Bears yesterday. I thought that Rivers looked a lot like Rex- a young inexperienced QB that got a lot of pressure. Neither was particularly effective, and both threw pics. One difference, to me (at least) was that the pic that Rex threw was a timing error that was as much the receiver's fault as Rex's. Rivers, however, threw a pass into coverage when pressured. Rex didn't do that all day.
I think that Rex is a work in progress. Watching him against the Bolts, I think he is improved over the Super Bowl. By the end of the year (if he stays healthy) I bet he will have put up very good numbers. It would be a mistake to pull him just now. If the Bears dump him at year's end, they will live to regret it, they will have trained him and he will go on to win for somebody else.

I think he’s in way over his head, and it shows against the better teams. We’ll see, most of what you are saying was said last year as I recall.
I think the Browns are a lock for Glenn Dorsey next year. My goodness, they were awful.
In fact, I’d take LSU and give Cleveland 10.
Might as well start Quinn next week. At least give the kid some knocks. If he survives, he’ll be decent next year.
Not so fast . We own The Clown's #1 next year.
What a great game yesterday. I was beside myself.
Maybe he is, and then again, maybe not. If there was an alternative, I would be all for it. Like I said, watching Rivers, he looked very similar in his execution and mistakes. Rivers threw for 190 yards, and Rex threw for 145. Both were sacked 3 times, both threw one pic. Mostly second year QB problems IMHO. Actually, Rex reminds me of a young Drew Brees. Similar build and arm. The Bolts dumped him for Rivers. Look what he did for the Saints last year.
Look, this is his contract year. If he doesn't perform, he is done. I remember how the Bears looked with Kyle Orton running the show. They were much worse. Unless they can trade, draft, or free agent themselves a big name QB, Rex is it for a while.
I would take Dorsey #1, that’s precisely what the Cowboys need, they’re fine at RB.
I agree with you that Rex didn’t lose the game yesterday. So in that account, he is improved somewhat. He faced the best defense he’ll see all season, and didn’t stink it up.
However, Cedric Benson did stink it up. Just awful.
‘If he doesn’t perform, he is done.’
No disputing that one.
” I remember how the Bears looked with Kyle Orton running the show.”
Me too, my Bengals stung him for five picks in Chicago two years ago....(chuckle)
Forgot about the trade for Quinn. Must have been too many buffalo wings... looks like the ‘Boys are already on the clock.
The d-line is worrisome right now, but maybe it can be addressed in FA/trade?
Besides I have a suspicion Jerry Jones is partial to DMac.
Well it may work out okay for them. Quinn looked better than I thought he would in the pre-season. Very good, actually. I think he’s on the clock too, in terms of when he gets named “The Guy.”
