WHJJ is AM 920. At one time they experimented with Air America and the ratings plummeted. Now they have Quinn and Rose, Glenn Beck, Rush (starting 9/20), Hannity, Mark Levin, etc.
Former Prov mayor Buddy Cianci, like WRKO/Boston morning guy (former MA House Speaker) Tom Finneran, is a convicted felon, though Cianci actually served time.
From what I hear... Cianci still is liked by many in Providence. They credit him for the major face-lift it went through.
