Rep. Dunn may be dead. No deatils.
Her family said she died, but there is no official confirmation yet.
Yup. Two threads already.
I heard a gasp from one of the Fox anchors when it was announced. She said it was supposedly an air embolism, but at this point, no one knows.
Who is that?
Who? There are 435 of them, you know.
I heard that too
Wow that was fast.
Are you talking about former Rep. Jennifer Dunn?
Yeah, I have no idea who these people are talking about.
Just checked House.gov, and there’s no current representative by the name Dunn.
Yes
May be dead? hahaha.
Ray Charles too.
excerpt....
Former representative Jennifer Dunn, R-Wash. who represented Seattle’s conservative east-side suburbs for six terms in Congress, died Wednesday, her family said. She was 66.
Dunn, a favorite of both Bush White Houses, was Washington state’s ranking Republican in Congress when she retired in 2004. She told the Associated Press at the time that she was pursuing a new career and planned to enjoy time with her new husband and baby granddaughter.
She died after developing a blood clot while at her Virginia home, her family said in a statement
Another one?
WASHINGTON - Ohio Rep. Paul Gillmor was found dead in his apartment Wednesday, a Republican leadership aide said.
The aide said the body of the 68-year-old Republican was found by staff members who went to his apartment after he failed to show up for work. There was no immediate word on the cause of his death. Gillmor’s office did not respond to a reporter’s call.
Gillmor, who represented Ohio’s 5th District in the Bowling Green area of the state, was first elected to Congress in 1988.

PETER CALLAGHAN; The News Tribune Published: September 5th, 2007 09:31 AM
Former U.S. Rep. Jennifer Dunn died suddenly Tuesday evening in Virginia, her family has announced. She was 66.
Dunn, who represented Washingtons 8th District for 12 years, had also been the chairwoman of the state Republican Party and an active Republican.
According to her family, Dunn suffered a pulmonary embolism in her Alexandria, Va., apartment and never regained consciousness. She is survived by her husband, Keith Thomson, and their sons Bryant Dunn, Reagan Dunn and Angus Thomson and her daughters-in-law Jessica Dunn and Paige Dunn, and two grandchildren.
Reagan Dunn is a member of the King County Council.
She was the first woman to lead the state Republican Party, the first freshman woman to become a member of the U.S. House Republican leadership team and achieved the highest party office by a woman when she was elected vice chairman of the House Republican Conference.
In 1999, Dunn was chosen to deliver the GOP response the State of the Union Address by then-President Bill Clinton. She was twice a delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, first in 1984 and again in 1990.
When she announced in 2004 that she would give up what was considered a safe seat in Congress, Dunn said she most proud of her sponsorship of such bills as the Amber Alert system. Dunn also was active on tax issues, especially Internal Revenue Service reform and eliminating the inheritance tax.
Dunn was born in 1941 in Seattle and raised in Bellevue, graduating from Bellevue High School in 1959 before attending the University of Washington. Her undergraduate degree came after transferring to Stanford. She worked as a systems engineer for IBM before deciding to stay home and raise her sons, Reagan and Bryant. Dunn divorced in 1977 and went to work in the King County Assessor’s Office.
