Your pictures were beautiful, and especially interesting to ME. My husband and I are leaving KS Tues. for our first trip back east - flying into Boston, staying in Cambridge for a few days, then renting a car and exploring the region. We don't know anyone there, so it will be all sightseeing. Any and all advice/suggestions on this trip would be greatly appreciated...we plan on doing normal touristy things - tours, ferries, etc., but is there anything we shouldn't miss?

What part of KS you be in there Sandy? I am in KC Ks!!!

Mrs alfa6 and I did a brief tour of Mass last year. The Mrs wanted to go to a place called Old Sturbridge Village. It a recreation of an 1830s New England Village. You could easily spend a day there and as an added bonus there is a Wright Outlet with all sorts of fabric and quilting goodies if you are into that sort of thing.
