I hardly think it is the biggest upset in college football history. Appy has won the last 2 1-AA championships. I would wager to say they have in the neighborhood of the 40 to 50th best team in the country in all divisions. And the B10/11 is always ranked high at the start of the season, just because of their name.

Upset yes. Biggest upset, nah.

I watched much of it, fun game.

ASU reminds me a little of those old powerhouse Georgia Southern I-AA championship teams a few years back. They’re just running a couple of notches higher than everybody else.

Was the Big House sold out for that game? Man, I can’t even imagine what that must’ve looked and sounded like, 100,000+ Michigan fans watching a “lowly” I-AA team beat the mighty Wolverines. (And if nothing else, if you prove you’re from ASU, you can probably get free beers in Columbus, Ohio right about now! :) )

"... I hardly think it is the biggest upset in college football history."

It's the first time a Top 25 ranked team has ever lost to a lower division team in the history of college football.

Michigan was even ranked #5, in fact.

If you can think of a bigger upset, name it.
