Concurrently on the back side of the weather fronts when I have pains of my own in the right arm and neck, I have observed "Bicuspid" going to this same spot under the hedge out back. Here the hedge is hollow and he scratches out a fresh spot in the dirt and lies down with the leg well down in the dirt. I think this puts him at ground potential relative to the electric charge on the passing front. Now this is where it gets weird. The spot is within inches of where an old ground mat was buried for a radio receiver in 1923! This spot has a very good ground conductance. Of course the dog can't know any of this, but this observation speaks volumes if only I could understand it. If anything comes to mind about knowledge of dogs and what i've seen???...
I will try to post a diagram of where the mat is buried, etc...
Thanks for any replies.
I don’t know anything about the electrical stuff, but do have the old pup on any arthritis medicine? If not, it will really help him get around and feel better.
I started him on arthritis meds just two months ago.
I remember going with my dad to take our older s
springer to the vet. She had had a very playful day with a new pup we had received and by evening she could barely move. The vet explained that there were no physical injuries she was simply sore from all the activity. The vet then asked my Dad if he took an aspirin daily. When my Dad responded that he did indeed take his 1/4 grain aspirin the vet told Dad to give the dog an aspirin daily also. Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory and does relieve a lot of the aches and pains a dog might have. Ask your vet about giving your faithful companion an aspirin daily.
:-)
Have you tried putting your arm and neck close to the radio receiver ground mat?
The ground resistance where his scratches are over to the old ground lead, 60 megohms there about, everywhere else is much higher. Of course the dog (see under the hedge) can't know this but by instinct, How???
