She got to the new hospital at 5am and has already had a CAT scan and diagnosis is the same. Her bowels are twisted up which is probably what happened as she “swam” in her baby pool. The docs are getting ready to put an NG tube in as of course she will NOT drink the stuff. They are saying barium enema and talking about her drinking this...so someone with some medical experience will have to explain all this to me. The local ER doc thought this might cure her without surgery and is usually tried? Whatever, I am just praying it works and they do not have to cut open our little two year old baby.

And hubby says we hit BOTH deer from the signs on the car this morning. Damage is to the passenger headlights only....they work but need new casings. When I saw two deer blocking the entire highway and we were going a good 65 mph I thought we were doomed. I figured they would be picking us up off the highway and taking us right back to the ER that we just left.

G - she had her entire chest and abdomen xrayed and no foreign bodies were spotted. The xrays were unclear about the bowel problem as well,which is why the CT scan.

Robt - the pain eased and is only mild now, but the docs say it can change and put her in that horrid pain or worse. She screamed for over an hour, the docs got to see it and it scared the medic who brought her in the ambulance. I could hear it over the phone - Ava was screaming in terror, it was heartbreaking.

Fortunately, her REAL grandparents raced up to the new hospital this morning and we got to sleep in. We are going up later to take up a recharged cell phone and a car seat...Ava’s mom got urine and vomit all over her and must be really ripe by now. She will most likely need some clean clothes.

Aggggh, I can’t wait for this to be over. Keep the prayers coming.
