I just got two new computers with an XP professional operating system and I love them. My old computer had Windows Millenium edition. Microsoft should be shot for releasing that mess.
My other computer had Windows 98. I had them both on my home computer network and as you might imagine, they hated each other.
I had my new home network profesionally set up and the Computer tech told me he wouldn’t sell a computer with a Vista system if he was paid to do it.
The solution is to switch to Apple. The design philosophy at Microsoft is fatally flawed. It is in their DNA to release sub standard product except for their Office Suite. Guess why: Because the first MS Word and Excel were made exclusively for the Mac so they were forced to use a more stable and intuitive design approach. The Windows OS and IE are light years behind the Mac’s. Use the new IMAC for 5 minutes and you will realize that XP / Vista are total garbage.
