You guys should have went with Kinky Friedman.

He wouldn't have gotten much done, which would have been just fine with me. Perry has done more than people thought a Governor could do, and it's made a lot of us uneasy.

When he started pushing these regional mobility groups that were pushing for more toll roads, light rail, and mass transit (and they were very successful) and then tried to mandate the vaccine (made by the company that just so happened to employ friends of his as lobbyists), and then talked about selling the lottery (with the help of a company that hired his son as well as his mentor Phil Gramm), all of us were like "what the hell is going on".

He was a Democrat in the '80s, and nothing has changed - he wants a nanny government, and he wants lots of big public works going on all over the state.
