The best beer in the world is the one in my hand right now.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson - who has tasted a greater variety of beer than everyone posting on this thread.....combined.

Now that’s more my style. I only drink maybe three a year and usually with pizza. I’m a one bottle person. Anything more that that and I’m out cold since I seldom ever drink anything harder than a small glass of red wine. My favorite is Miller Draft. I’ve never tried imported.

My favorite is Miller Draft.

I like Miller Genuine Draft too. Good stuff.

I’ve never tried imported.

Don't.

Guiness, because I can do so much with it other than drink it.

Ice Cream
Stew
Bread
chocolate cake

all with guiness

I’m an Ultra gal, too.

I can’t wait to try your Young’s Double Chocolate Stout!

Not exactly beer, but Samuel Smith’s Taddy Porter.

And last week, I just had an Irish Cream Ale at a local bar, I wish I could remember the name... But I want another one! Very smooth and tasty!

I like a local Kansas City brew, Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat, draft

I was really disappointed with Boulevard Porter. I've never tried a wheat beer. Where do you get that around KC?

Young's Double Chocolate Stout! YUM!!! Great with Archway chocolate chocolate chip cookies! No, I haven't tried dunking them.

what was that movie quote: “Heineken? F-— that s—t! PABST BLUE RIBBON!”

Heh...I think that was Blue Velvet. Someone once told me that my local area (Portland) has the most PBR drinkers per capita. Sad if it's true given all of the great local beer choices we have.

PBR should have been given "Co-Starring Role" credits in "Waking up in Reno," a really terrific WT comedy, if you haven't seen it! It's a great double feature with the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" movie!

Anywhere. Boulevard is a local brewery and their pale ale and unfiltered wheat is sold in just about every bar, restaurant, and liquor store. I'm not a porter drinker so I can't speak to that. But I highly recommend their other brews.

You chose...

On that advice I just bought some Shiner Bock. Good call! This is definitely my new favorite.

Let me know what you think. Betcha like it! I can find it at HEB sometimes, but Spec’s is a more reliable source. (Like I need an excuse to go to Spec’s.)
