Wow! When they say ‘black’ they really meant it. I expected it to be dark but that cat is solid jet black. Beautiful. I’m glad they are going to return it to the wild.

Black must offer a camouflage advantage for a night time hunter. I sort of wonder if this advantage also applies to African people, if the black skin color had more to do with a camouflage advantage than it did with a sun tan advantage. Brown eggs are brown for better camouflage. Really in Africa being black in the noon time sun is no advantage at all. Are white people white to blend in better with snow? It's clear polar bears are white for that reason.
