Taking possesion or owning a dog is serious, A 15-20 year commitment in feeding, medical bills and other preventive measures. If your stepson is 20 or so and is thinking of joining the military, how could he possibly take care of a dog. Dog ownership is not a fashion statement

If I had one, he wouldn't have a meth problem. I would tell him to go fishing for catfish for a living and leave the dog that he doesn't have at home. (And if he did I wouldn't let him have a dog. And if his Gramma and Grandpa bought one from him anyway I would kill them so I wouldn't be embarrassing to you.
As a matter of fact, I been thinking of ditching the Mom, the boy(that I don't have), his Gramma and Grampa, the fashion statement dog and all the rest and taking up with a sweet mud head cat that I caught. Do you find that the whiskers are tickley in bed?

Probably a lot like my home and my Parent’s home.
Critters are family property. Girl child got a cat, sneaked it in the house, a year or so ago. When she goes off to college the cat will stay.
The dogs all think it is a dog that climbs.
