WTKK 96.9FM has been in its own frustrating morning limbo since Don Imus got tossed off the air five months ago. The FM talker still cant put a claim on Howie Carr as its new morning guy until his legal woes with WRKO get cleared up, however, the station will have a new overnight personality come September 10th. Phil Hendries syndicated show gets installed in stations overnight schedule. About a year and a half ago, Hendrie left his national radio show syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks, to star in the NBC sitcom Teachers. He also starred in the Fox/CBS pilot The Giants of Radio. But he returned to radio in late June with a new syndicator -Central Point, ORs Talk Radio Network - which also syndicates Michael Savage(WRKO), Jerry Doyle(WRKO), Laura Ingraham(WTKK). Hendries show will air from 1am to 4am on WTKK-FM
radio-info.com says Hendrie will start soon at KTLK AM 1150
in L.A....9 pm to 1 am. The first hour will be exclusive to
KTLK
