Funny, short bit of humor - let’s see how long it takes MSM to pick it up. I remember back in 2002 (I think), when the Onion ran a story about the US Capitol undergoing renovation to add a movable dome and luxury skyboxes. Some Chinese news outfit thought it was a serious story and wrote about it as an example of Western decadence. When they were shown that the fell for a gag, they at first refused to acknowledge it, and then they blamed the West for duping them.
