It gets kinda over the top around here during football season. We don't have a pro football team (who needs one - we've got the Buckeyes), and it's become essentially civil religion.

Some of the fans can get obnoxious. They are exceptions to the rule.

No kidding. I was on the OSU campus in February, March, and June for tours and orientation, and they literally go nuts (well they are Buckeyes, I guess ;) about football. They have a whole week dedicated to celebrating OSU spirit and football called "Beat Michigan Week" and all the tour guides say that to some students football is like a religion. The tickets sell out within a month. I want to see them lose to the Wolverines on game day, not because I don't like them or anything, I'm just curious to see what will happen on campus. The atmosphere will probably be similar to that of a morgue.
