The I-man and the Eye net have finally ironed out their differences.
The settlement short-circuits the $120 million breach-of-contract lawsuit Don Imus has been threatening in the wake of his April firing for controversial racial and sexual remarks.

I see that members of the Rutgers basketball team are already filing a lawsuit.
Guess the apology they accepted was enough until they heard about the money Imus will get.
Good I am glad.
Note I think Imus is a mean arrogant jerk.
I wonder if he was the oppisite when he was drinking/drugging.

Never cared for his program. However, I did think he got a bum rap.
Jan, somehow I don’t get the warm and fuzzies with the IMan.
Those comments he made and other slurs over the years I believe are what he really means. This time he got caught and had to say I’m sorry.
When you make racial slurs time and time again something is brewing inside. Just like Trent Lott, when he made that racial slur the last time, it was a comment he has been making for 20 years. Again, this time he got caught. I don’t care who you are, you do not have the right to attack an ethncity just because.
Now.... the exception to that rule are the sons of b.... who call themselves, Al Queda, Fatah, Islamic Jihad etc...You can slurr them all you want!
LOL. Wonder the the statute of limitations is on “hurt feelings”?
He may be right; He may be wrong, but he’s got a right to sing his song! Love to all.
“Oh no! Your tasteless comment ruined my life! I shall never recover! But the right amount of cash will set my poor victimized feet upon the path to healing.”
LOL...excellent call.
It will be great to not listen to him again.
I can’t believe that anybody wants Don Imus back on the radio. He and his ‘humor’ might have been timely 30 years ago, but today he is just a pathetic anachronism. On air, he always undercut America’s best interests in favor of his continued slobbering over the boots of any left wing celebutant. He is and has been a total tool of the upper-west-side liberal non-thinkers. In this age of serious threat to America, does anybody really want Don Imus on the air, broadcasting his own defeatist message?
