Drew Carey is not your typical Hollywood liberal. He’s from Cleveland, and is a former marine. I believe he’s a self-described libertarian. I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

He describes his politics as libertarian, he supports the GOP and is also a self proclaimed "dittohead" and was a vocal supporter of the GOP for years.

But my favorite moment of all, was him taunting copperhead James Carville repeatedly at some DC function, by looking at him and mocking "Gore lost, get over it", several times....if you could read lips, carville's response was not PG.

We have no way of knowing how much control Carey has over the product. The show is obviously taped and who knows what got left on the cutting room floor.

I’m not accusing Carey of liberal bias as much as I am accusing the show itself of being biased. I don’t expect the game show to resemble the Half Hour News Hour. I’m just expecting a game show to be politically neutral, particularly in the season premiere, and it was clearly not.
