Dang I want to cook in your kitchen....you are making some great choices.....what kind of counter tops are you looking at.....check out quartz..... http://www.cambriausa.com/ as long as you are going all out think about a built in coffee system....yummmmy
I already am going with quartz, I've pretty much already picked that part out, if you want to laugh, a few folks asked me about what kind of coffee maker I was going to get, and were shocked when I told'em I don't drink coffee, lol.

You may have to start, just so you can get a cool coffee maker or espresso machine.

Never mind on the coffee maker.....my husband did some research on counter tops and the quartz is rated as one of the top......
Personally, I am not a fan of the popular granite... Good luck with kitchen remodel....I hope all goes well.

Quartz vs granite. I am planning to put in a new countertop. It seems that quartz makes more sense because it does not need as much upkeep and looks very good. Actually I saw a beautiful onyx tile that really appeals to me. Anyone ever use onyx?
