It seems strange to say, but true, that every day next week here in NC will be cooler....mid 90's.

It will be interesting to get IG's inside view of the Iowa Straw Poll doings today, which I understand will begin at 10am (Iowa time) and will be televised on C-Span.

We are inching towards autumn.
Already I am seeing blackbirds starting to flock up, and the mornings becoming a little more quiet. I do love fall though, so its always an exciting time of the year for me.
In about a week I will start preparing my classroom for the school year.
