Quite a career fall from CTU to being her bodyguard.

How very sad for this young lady..With a life like she has had no wonder she thinks everything she does is alright..To many parents today are like this trash and they are still allowed to raise children..We of course have more loving parents around than these but we don’t hear about the good kids or the great parents we hear about this poor girl and her life..

I’d agree with you except for the fact that Lindsay is a very talented young woman with a wonderful career ahead of her. If she doesn’t destroy herself first, she’s capable of turning in Oscar-worthy performances that will lift the spirits of moviegoers.
At a time when Ho-Wood can boast few “stars” who can actually act, it would be a shame to lose one of the few who has real talent. I sincerely hope she gets her real life together.

Linday had choices and failed to make the correct ones. No one put the drugs in her mouth/noe, and no one forced her to drive drunk.
This is yet another example of someone not wanting to take responsiblity for their actions, and someone else willing to enable them.

(1) Her mother is the diametric opposite of what I would call a good parent.
(2) Her father was clearly violent and although he is trying to turn his life around, most recovering addicts wouldn't be on TV lecturing people on sobriety and recovery before they have worked the program much longer.
(3) Unlike Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, she is actually very talented at what she does and could have a very long and rewarding career. When Britney Spears is 50 no one will care if she comes out with a new record. When Lohan is 50, she might be handing in Streep-quality performances in worthwhile films.

No wonder she did drugs. She has a leg growing out of her back.

I agree. She still has a respectable shot of true "stardom"
The Parent Trap, and to a lesser degree Freaky Friday are well worth the title family movie must see.
Good luck Lindsay!

The Parent Trap, and to a lesser degree Freaky Friday are well worth the title family movie must see. She was very good in Herbie: Fully Loaded (my daughter really enjoys the film) despite a painfully weak script. She actually made the character she played somewhat believable.
And Mean Girls was a very funny movie in which she again made an awkwardly-written character believable.

If your daugher enjoyed those movies, PLEASE take time out for
The Parent Trap.
Fantastic Family Fun!
keep smiling,

When both parents are alkies, you’ve got that nature & nuture double-whammy. I find her behavior wrong but understandable for someone with that background. Hope she gets a clue soon....
