The only remaining unsigned first rounders left are Russell and Revis.

NFL PING

FReepmail scott says to be added to, or to be taken off the NFL Ping list...
This is a fairly high volume ping list

You’ll have your top pick corner on the field come opening day. I’m not so sure about the Jets.

Yep, and a revamped D line and LB corps to a certain extent. There is reason for excitement in Cincy this year.

As long as they avoid the injury bug they should be back in the playoffs.

Yep. Everybody focused on the ‘off field issues’. Thats not what kept the Bengals out of the playoffs.

You simply can’t lose four of five starting O linemen and win in the NFL. Toss onto that losing two of three starting LB’s for the entire season, the third for six of the last eight, a starting Safety, and a pro bowl shut down corner....and then consider Palmer didn’t regain his form til mid season, its amazing they went 8 - 8.

Couple of names keep popping up in camp worth watching Thursday night in Detriot. Skylar Green, WR/Punt returner, and our two rookie safeties, ‘Chindim’ (paraphrasing his name) and White.

Then there is Ahmad Brooks at MLB. 270 pounds, can flat out run, and is a big, big hitter.

We’ll see.

What are the chances that Brady Quinn proves to be the next Heath Schuler?

The best move the Miami Dolphins made in the draft was not selecting Quinn, despite their glaringly obvious need for a long term quarterback.

I pity the Cleveland Browns, a team I like.

None. I think he'll end up being the next Tim Couch.

You mean he’ll run for congress as a Democrat after his NFL career crashes and burns?

Couch wouldn't have even been Couch if we had a decent line, which the Browns now have.

As long as they avoid the injury bug going to jail they should be back in the playoffs.

“You mean he’ll run for congress as a Democrat after his NFL career crashes and burns?”

Possibly, but I see Quinn as being more liberal than ol’ Heath. Brady wanted to be paid as a top 5 pick, despite being chosen number 22 - which shows his “You owe me even though I’ve done nothing to earn it yet” mentality. Further, he just looks like a Gore-Greenie-enviromental-wacko.

Obviously, you don’t pay attention to current events in this area, so I’ll suggest you follow FROH.

I have a fine sense of humor. What you posted simply wasn’t, and has been stated in far more amusing ways...back when it was applicable.
