Does this Make Your Day?
Woo-hoo, I grew up with a Mac...can’t wait to toss this PC and get one!
I’ve been eying a MacPro. You get one now with 2 QUAD processors. Thats a lot of horsepower.....
Wonder if the marketeer stopped to take a breath while writing this.
Though it’ll be interesting to see what it actually looks like.
I just got a MacPro a few months ago. F-A-S-T!
Always used Macs. Have 4 at the moment. Was hoping the new iMacs would have either HD-DVD or Blu-Ray drives. Nope. Just A super drive for dvd. I’ll be waiting longer to upgrade with the next “new ones” I guess.
I see that Apple is still selling their machines with cheapy video cards. The Radeon 2600 is soundly outperformed by the mid range Geforce 8600 (and it isn’t even in the same league as the 8800). Once again, Apple proves why I’m not interested in their product. The day they start selling them with actual performance video cards, I’ll consider making the change. Until then, Macs are second stringer machines.
I have a couple of ATI cards, and my personal experience tells me to look for nVidia in the future.
I guess my daughter’s old imac will have to head for the trash soon...
Ooooooooo! ‘Puter Porn!!!
I've not looked much at Mac displays, but I like what I've seen much more than Windows.
Nothing more useless than digital pornography
24” screen however has a lot of space for the
grainy, meaningless, artistically inept, puerile,
wish fulfillment behavior
Just clean up afterward
and don’t get it on the keyboard
In other news, Apple has filed a trademark suit against Intel over Intel’s use of “i” at the beginning of Intel’s corporate logo.
Apple attorney Marcus DeValderer said, “We at Apple are going to aggressively fight to enforce our exclusive right to use “i” for marketing purposes. We are no longer going to allow Intel to infringe upon our trademarks with reckless abandon.”
When asked if he was aware that Intel had been using the “i” in its name well before Apple was even founded, DeValderer was quick to respond. “That is just the kind of old geezer thinking that Apple has fought to eliminate from its culture. This is about our right to wrap yesterday’s technology in a shiny box, throw an “i” at the beginning of the name, and have it be instantly cool. Intel is not cool. We proved that with our Mac/PC marketing campaign and we will prove it again when the facts are laid out in court.”
Sources tell us that the court has already awarded summary judgment to Intel and has ordered all of Apple’s attorneys back to the drug rehab center they escaped from last week.
Sweet, the 20” model is at a good price.
I’ve got a co worker with a MAC notebook who runs XP, Windows 2003 server and of course OS/X. Nice setup. This price has me thinking...
What? Those pictures of the iMac are anything but grainy, meaningless, artistically inept, or puerile.
The great thing about these machines is that
the display is the computer, no other separate components...
I think you’re missing the point. We always say, Gun porn when we see guns so this is Mac porn.
Can I expect this laugh a minute attitude if I buy a MAC?
