Despite the source (Corsi), this is still troublesome.

As WND reported, a Federal Highway Administration study begun in 1998 warned increased NAFTA truck traffic would endanger Minnesota bridges along I-35.
Increased traffic whether cause by NAFTA or economic factors impact all transportations systems that they use whether they be highways, rail, air ports, maritime, etc. Goods will flow across this country via some transportation method whether Corsi likes it or not and they will cause wear and tear on the systems. No big boggy man causing this effect.

The real question is: Did the State or Federal governments provide funds for that bridge's upkeep/maintenance, and if so, was the money spent for that reason, or diverted to something else?
