Er...the burnt smell isn’t quite the one I mean...that one I can’t tolerate at all.

Having been stationed overseas, on a base where we had both 220 and 110 V available, and people who didn’t always understand the concept of switching the voltage on the back of the PC (me included a few times), I’m *quite* familiar with that smell. And the sound that can go with its initial production.

Ack. That’ll get your heart going!

Yeah, but I know what you mean, that sort of ionized air smell that big old high voltage stuff use to make. Don’t seem to smell it from most things these days.
