Don’t mock me. I’ve been on the phone with Comcast (five calls now) since 3:00). The morons came out today to bury the cable and cut off the internet, the cable AND the phone.

I was on line with “service” (located in Zimbabwe or New Delhi, I never can tell). They said the best they can do is have someone out in the morning. I asked them why since it was their screw up, couldn’t someone work overtime?

Then I asked to speak to the dispatcher, but that’s not allowed. Then I asked to speak to the person who makes those policy decisions. Also not allowed.

I DID finally manage to find out how to reach the local office and just called and gave them an earful.

I stopped short of saying “you know, my son works in a store that sells firearms.”

Reality is nobody can be home this afternoon for them to fix it anyway. But it still pisses me off.

I’d have signed a contract with Verizon today if they could install tomorrow, but it’s a three week waiting period. Still we may do that anyway.
