I’ll try winmag... I’ll try :~)
French fries, cheese and brown gravy; what’s NOT to like!
They used to serve that up in Montreal at the Expos games, but they’re not there anymore.
Joseph had to go for a drug test for his Wally World job. While he was there, he got a call from ANOTHER place to which he’d applied offering him a job! It never rains, but it pours. He’s going to call the guy at Wally World tomorrow to ask about what the pay is, etc, because the offer from the other place was pretty good, but he’d still rather work in the Electronics Dept. at Wally World. The other place is a knick knacks, furniture place that gets hugely busy around Christmas. But he’d love to eventually get hired by Radio Shack or Geek Squad, so having had experience in the Electronics Dept. would be better than just having had a job in a knick knacks place.
Now that’s clever. Fast moving, and it also reduces the possibility of spreading something that’s communicable, by keeping folks in their cars rather than milling around in a hugh group!
Now, that’s just cool!! Maybe you could have it mounted in a bail and hang it from a chain for a necklace, or put on your key chain!
Where did the Expos go?
They’re the “Washington Nationals” now.
Evening Corin - glad he was able to find a similar job; they sell hooks and bullets at the new place?
When do you plan on posting Chapter II or you going to make us wait for the movie? :-)
Sounds kinda like the ‘Student Health Services’ MO at A&M.
Glad to hear some areas are having drills like that, haven’t heard of it up this way.
Remind me never to make you mad lol.
Why do people keep saying that to me???
Heh heh!
Matthew is taking Algebra 1 this year. Steve is helping him at the table.
It seems to me that they are speaking a foreign language and it’s unnerving to me.
So I’m sneak freepin’.
Algebra 1 is as far as my math brain goes, anything past that, ugh.
I was able to make it to about 4th grade, then I started winging it during 5th grade...he did fine in 6th grade with minimal need of assistance from me, but when he hit pre-algebra last year, my husband took over the instruction.
Thankfully hubby is very good at it.
Algebra I is vey handy. VEY handy. A good foundation in that will take him vey far. There are a lot of tricks and shortcuts later on in physics, chemistry, and calculus that are all based in solid algebra I skillz.
For my desk at thenewjob. Then I can slip it in my purse for out-n-about purposes.
What gets me is the atmosphere...it’s so...happy! They sound more like they’re playing a board game!
It’s a relief to me, but it makes me feel anxious.
So I’m back here in the computer room/guest room, drinking cholesterol medicine.
Yeah yeah, that’s how it always starts. It’s all fun and games until someone drops a negative sign...
