And those who really might be dangerous with such weapons are gonna find a way to bring weapons or some kind on board anyway.

When nail files are outlawed, only outlaws will have nail files...

I was just on the phone with my skydiving pilot sister, out of Auburn, WA. She flies out of Pierce County Airport, and is a member of the Snohomish sky-diving club which had that recent tragic crash. The club had a party last night to work on reviving their spirits.

It’s just to show that Corin is doomed.

Today, my hero and heroine met and were thrown into jail together. I consider this auspicious. They also had an argument within three seconds of meeting and have accused each other of being, respectively, incompetent at rescue operations, and a psychic stalker. They’re both right.

And my heroine is having a nice yell at her mother for being a wet blanket, useless, and walking out years ago. And not telling her about the rotten apples in the family tree.

I’ve spent an entire day writing as creepy stalker dude. Good times.

*shudder*

I’m still writing, slowly though, but I’d rather do that than rush it.

Heh...but rushing it is kind of the point of NaNo. I admit, I’m sitting her wanting to slap Jen silly for her word count, but it’s true that the main point of this madness is to get a story down, any which way, with the idea that *later* you go back and polish it and maybe change a “blue” to “azure” here and a “ran” to “charged” there...etc.

Until I did NaNo for the first time, I took any writing I did way too seriously to ever make it past the first few thousand words because I’d analyze every sentence and keep writing and rewriting it. NaNo may be the other extreme, but it’s a good way to achieve a happy medium the rest of the year.

Well, she’s way ahead of me. In two days I’ve gone from nothing to 1230 words, which is good, but I need to speed it up a bit.
