I’ve been turning the heat way down at night and piling on the blankets. I think Cisco prefers it cool, but occasionally Tam has taken to burrowing under the blankets, and right now he’s insisting he *needs* to be in my lap.
I guess it’s warmer in Siam / Thailand. ;-)
Thanks for dinner last night — that was really, really good! We’ll definitely have to go back to that place sometime, even if the pizza place shapes up...
And frequented by so many celebrities :~)
Our sorry excuse for a Beagle came this > < close to needing to go to the vet last night... He was really hurting. We gave him some Hydrogen Peroxide to induce vomiting (should have done that when we first got home) but it was too late... Not much in his stomach. Gave him some Mylanta, and he threw that up. He's just going to have to process it, if it kills him. All my reading indicated it wasn't bloat though, just a seriously gorged dog. We're going today to buy a crate. He just can't be trusted alone.
Sorry excuse for a thieving Beagle after breaking into dog food bin. Don't offer him and after dinner mint... please. No matter how "wafer thin".
heh, LSA has had the same ‘issue’ with Annie; matter of a fact, just last nite..Annie wants her space warm and toasty unless she wants it cool and crisp. What can we say, she’s a cat.
Been sidetracked researching all morning.
Well Miss Cat is an expert furniture hog. You wouldn’t think that a 12-lb cat could take up so much room.
That is just a silly picture. Poor beagle.
whoa - that’s incredible..hope he recovers quickly.
They have no sense. Scents, but no sense.
And when they lay on you lap, they want you to ‘be still’, darn near puts your leg to sleep.
Stand back..... it’s gonna blow!
It’s not like we didn’t take precautions. The dog food was in a Rubbermaid Bin that is snapped shut and heavy, full of food. And we put four heavy coffee table books on top of it. He pulled it out about four feet and tipped it over.
Heya - I’m catching up on some TiVo shows - stuff I recorded of BBCA. I’m just in heaven watching an episode of Graham Norton in which Gabriel Byrne is a guest! I adore Gabriel Byrne, possibly my most favoritest Irish actor. He’s funny - very dry humor - but a real hoot!
Crating sounds like a good plan. I’d say hurting serves him right, but I don’t think he connects the action with the result, and you guys get to suffer along with him...ugh.
No, I got him off the pier. But I had to kill someone off earlier than planned to do it.
So now I need to go back and insert a couple of chapters. Otherwise I have two death flashbacks in a row. And while the missing people hin his life are important I don't want it to read like that's all he's about.
I guess it's just the difference in animal breeds. We have the cat and the dog food in Rubbermaid bins side by side. The cat's won't stay shut. Both of them could just go over and eat to their hearts content, but they never have.
We think Sam's too slow to figure it out and Abby insists on being served.
Depending on how much I get done today, tomorrow I may get to write the murder.
I wrote a murder on one of the NaNo Sundays last year, too. And my tire blew out on the way home from church.
I’m hopin’ this year I get a pass...
We could leave the lid off of it and Gidget and Homer wouldn’t break in it. We use to leave the lid off all the time.
It’s just Barkley. He eats every meal like it’s his first in a month.
I get it. Jr. must have some Beagle in him...
In other newz, the guys I hired to complete the building were here around 8:00 this morning. They’re ready to put the shingles on the roof. I wouldn’t have been to that point before May or June...
