I wonder how Bay would react to one of those lameness tests where they hold the foot up for so many seconds then trot the horse off.

Flex tests... they will hyper-flex each joint individually and then trot the horse off and see if it made them sore. That is part of what the vet does when he comes out and does a full exam.

Flex test, that’s what I was trying to think of! All I could come up with was stress test. I swear, I think I’m getting alzheimer’s.

I’m looking for a new shoer. The guy I was using was consistently making my horses sore after a trim by cutting them too short. I finally had enough.
