Before I had kids I wasn’t even remotely interested in Halloween. Now it’s my favorite holiday. It’s easy, I don’t have to spend a bunch of money and time for gifts, or find time to spend with both families, the decorations are quick and easy to put up and take down, etc.

Wow Becky, you really are thinking of changing religions. Before I bought Winnie for my daughter, we looked at some Tennessee Walkers. I really wanted to get one, just for something different, but Mandy rides english and wanted a horse she could post on.

We used to be more into Halloween when we lived on the street where I grew up. Tight neighborhood, lots of kids trick or treating.

Now, we never get any trick or treaters. Maybe friends with kids will stop by on their way somewhere, but otherwise... We usually buy a couple big candy bars just in case.
