She’s just the last in a long line of refugees who have found there way here... :~)
To: HairOfTheDog
I wouldn’t expect anything less of you. That is wonderful. It’s just too bad; we can’t keep all of them.
You take great pics. My little pinkie is always in mine. I took a roll of film to be put on cd and the woman just hooted and howled. Only 7 pics were good because my pinkie was in all the rest. I am going to have to tie it down. LOL

I'm convinced that the Stray Animals Guild has put "Hobo Sign" on your property. Something like this:

That means "kind hearted lady lives here".

Whoo hoo! Three cheers for Angus. Hope he does well.
Possibly the nicest Newfoundland in the world, who lives on our street, is named Angus. He is a sweetheart, he plays (very gently) with Ruby and Shelley. You can see him being careful, even with Ruby the Egregious (who doesn't back down an inch!)

I love those Newfoundlands. I see them at the shows all the time. I love your pups. I bet that Ruby is a riot.

What a beautiful bird!! I always did the same, hauled home the lost, wandering and forlorn - or they seemed to find me - and when I asked my grandmother if she thought Mom or Dad would be mad, she would tell me this!

Yeah, I was reading up on your “Chicken Adventure” over on HH. Sounds like you took it to the best place it could’ve possibly ended up. But I see that you’ve RE-infected 2J with the chicken fever. Of course I realize that it didn’t take much of a push to send her over the edge. LOL!! Good ol’ 2J. I’m glad she’s going to get some more. She enjoyed them so much, and the boys seemed to too.

I agree :~) On all counts! 2J should have her chickens! :~)
To: AnAmericanMother
OK - now that I know what the sign looks like maybe I can find it ;~)
To: HairOfTheDog
Well, we know it’s down at a level that can be read by a chicken . . . and short dogs . . . .

Thanks Hair. Turns out that they ended up closing shop today. It’s just as well, as I’m down with a miserable cold, and we were without power for most of the day.
To: Beaker
Well that’s good that you didn’t have to go in. Sorry ‘bout the cold. Were you without power at home or at work?

Here's some pics from this weekend's ride to give everyone something horsey to look at. It was a Cowboys for Christ organized trail ride, held in southern middle TN and was attented by somewhere between 30 and 50 riders. BladeRider and her daughter and Kari and I really enjoyed it. The scenery was just beautiful!...

That's me on Bob in this picture. He's really darkened up this winter. Even BladeRider didn't recognize him. She said "Who's that black horse you're riding?"

Very cool! Now that’s what I pictured the South looking like before I saw all your cliffs! Rolling green hills... Very pretty.
Glad to see you on Bob... you haven’t been riding him much lately, I was going to ask you about him!
To: HairOfTheDog
His feet finally got back in good enough shape to shoe, and I put him bach in his NBs and he’s doing great.

Well good for him. :~) Glad he's goin' good.
And good to see someone riding around here :~)
Bay looked good moving yesterday, and I haven't given him any Bute in several days now. Looking forward to this week, because it's supposed to really dry out and be nice for several days... I'd like to work him some and see if he's really doing well or if I need the vet out for more diagnostics.
I didn't catch any real good pictures of him yesterday, but I did catch a couple of the mares showing us their asses. ;~)

Look at Cyn with her eyes closed. I catch her with her eyes closed a lot in pictures... it might explain a lot about why she's so clumsy ;~)
